Susan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work Degree from Rhode Island College. Susan has experience in an integrated community health center, medical hospital and several inpatient mental health settings. Susan has worked with adult, children and adolescents who are dealing with depression, anxiety, loss, school avoidance, peer relationships, sexual trauma. Specialty focus has been working with adolescents who were adversely affected by the pandemic. The isolation during the pandemic caused an increase in new diagnosis or exacerbation to existing mental health issues for adolescents, especially those who relied on social connections for emotional support. Susan is currently working in the Pediatric department as the Director of Integrated Behavioral Health.
